I’m going to show you the difference in pronunciation between “Tim” and “Team.”
The word “Tim” is a name. It’s short for Timothy.
It has the same i sound that we see in the word “with.”
And now the word “team” refers to a group of people that are doing something together or playing together,
such as a sport like soccer. And that has the e sound like the word “tea” (the beverage).
